A. Formulation and modernization of national policies and regulations on information and technology and providing assistance in practical activities related to information and communication technology of various ministries / divisions and agencies;
B. Implementation with recommendations of the National Task Force on Information and Communication Technology;

C. For conducting research, development and dissemination in various sectors of information and communication technology, the concerned organizations / institutions, private information and communication technology organizations / societies to conduct necessary information technology surveys, research and development activities and to provide overall support and grants for service delivery and financing. Take initiative;

D. Increase integrity in various countries related to information and communication technology and with the initiatives of international and global organizations and implement agreements and cooperation activities in related fields;

E. Assist and coordinate various ministries / agencies in adopting integrated action plans for e-governance, e-infrastructure, e-health, e-commerce and other service activities;
